Appart from the models, which have been built at the Taller de Maquetas (Models' Studio), the Architect Eduardo Serra has developed other activities related to his profession, some of the most important being: 1- Courses and Conferences: He has given several courses and conferences at different State and Private Universities, Schools of Design and other institutions, like U.N.B.A. (Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires), Universidad de Morón, Nueva Escuela, etc. He has also been giving private courses at his own studio for twenty five years. These courses are open to everyone who wants to learn how to build a model; craftsmen, students, architects and designers have attended to these courses, which are given in small groups and with personalized follow-up. 2- Publications: Several Architecture magazines and suplements have published Arch. Eduardo Serra's essays and interviews related to his work. 3- Awards and Honorable Mentions: The Architect Serra has won several mentions and awards at many Architecture events and biennials . |

| Moreover, many models have been built at the Taller de Maquetas (Models' Studio) for several awarded projects at several contests, some of the most important being: the First Prize for the Architect Peralta Urquiza and the Second Prize for the Architect Mendez Paradiso ; both of them being winners of the "National Contest" for the design of a "Cultural Center for the year 2035". |

She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 22, 1971. After completing her secondary studies, she enters in the year 1988 to Belgrano's University as pupil of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism; dealing her career there in the period of two years, continuing then her studies in the University of Buenos Aires. |

Together with her revenue to the Faculty she begins her training in the area of models, for which is present at the Workshop of Models of the Arq. Eduardo Serra. Once finished the courses of training in the area, she is called to form a part of the above mentioned Workshop as modelist associated, thanks to which ,she specializes furthermore her knowledge in the item. In the year 1992 the Arq is associated with Eduardo Serra, turning into his wife and assuming tasks of major responsibility and commitment with her work. |

About 1998 with the summit of the construction of housings, the Workshop of Models incorporated into the market a new product, the construction of " Departments I Shape in scale ". This task led Mariana Corrales to specializing in the design and construction of settings of interior spaces, managing to materialize interiors of complete departments in different scales, like for example, 1:10, 1:12 ó 1:25. |

This work was the initial kick that gave origin to GULLIVER, La Fuerza Domesticadora de lo Pequeño, enterprise dedicated to the construction of spaces and furniture in miniature; orientated to collectors, experts and beginners of the whole world, etc. |
|
The aim is to spread the Art in Miniature across samples, exhibitions and press, to announce the Miniaturism as an office with centuries of history and wake the imagination and the desire up of all those that want to have some of these pieces, already be inside the domestic market and the international one. |
